Prepare for your test

If you’ve passed the test in DKT online, you do not need to make a booking to go to a service centre and apply for your licence. Due to the high interest in the Work and Holiday visa program in some high demand countries, the department has paused application lodgement. This may happen when the cap is nearly filled or to spread out visa application lodgements throughout the program year. Due to rostering and staffing requirements, CPI tests can only be booked 5 or more weeks in advance, while some other test types can be booked up to 2 weeks prior.
